Vivek is popping up in Delhi!
Vivek Singh will be in Delhi this month with Oberoi Hotels. Vivek will be hosting a 2-day masterclass with hospitality management students at the prestigious Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development – on invitation from Chef Parvinder Bali, who studied at the Oberoi school at the same time as Vivek. The Oberoi Group played a huge part in Vivek’s journey and career, as he is an alumni of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, where in 1995 he graduated with top honours from the Kitchen Management programme, and then went on to successfully lead the culinary brigade at the Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur in 1998.
As well as the masterclass, Vivek Singh will be sharing his culinary delights at the luxurious Oberoi Gurgaon hotel in Delhi for a special Cinnamon Club pop-up.
Chef Vivek will be cooking at Amaranta restaurant in Oberoi Gurgaon hotel in Delhi, from 18th-22nd January. Vivek and the team will be preparing and presenting a special 9-course tasting menu, showcasing signature dishes from The Cinnamon Club and Amaranta.
Chef Vivek’s cooking style combines Indian culinary heritage with quality British produce, creating modern versions of regional originals that have earned him many accolades. The use of key seasonal ingredients and reinvented recipes resulting from constant experimentation form the base of this first-of-its-kind culinary celebration. Chef Tejas, executive sous chef of Amaranta restaurant, style is a ‘play-ted menu’, blending authentic regional recipes and unusual flavour pairings to curate a contemporary Modern Indian dining experience.
The special tasting menu will be available from 18th January to 22nd January, 2017 for lunch and dinner at Amaranta, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available.
